Shrink Rap was founded by Margarita Gurri, Ph.D. Dr. Margarita, as kids call her, is a vivacious and humorous speaker and consultant to professionals and parents. She is an expert in interpersonal communication, parenting, child development, ethics, and the use of humor for learning and healing. A sought-after speaker, Dr. Margarita is known for her vibrant and highly energetic teaching style as keynoter, presenter, and trainer. She has been a featured guest on radio programs including the Dr. Teena Cahill show and NPR.
Recognitions include the Governor's Crime Prevention Award. Her client list includes professional and parent groups, families, police and fire departments, child protective services, local governments, school systems, military families, and faith communities.
